Is Esports a Sport? According to Angela Ruggiero, chief executive of the Olympic and Sports Innovation Laboratory, esports will eventually become part of the Olympic Games four times.
“People huddle around a TV, and they watch football, and they don’t participate, but they just love watching,” Ruggiero said in an interview with The Aspen Institute.
