Lunafreya Nox Fleuret is the major heroine of Final Fantasy XV and one of the two main characters in Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. The other is Nike Ulric. A former princess of Tenebrae, she was a slave to the Niflheim Empire. Luna is the youngest oracle in history to be able to talk to the gods. Although it remained under Niflheim’s control, thanks to Tenebrae, there is some independence. She is the younger sister of Rousseau Knox Fleuret and is engaged to be married to Prince Nox. Also, Luna is the daughter of Queen Sylva Knox Fleuret, Queen of Tenebrae.
She has two dogs: White Pryna and Black Umbra. Luna is to assist Noctis (Noctis Lucis Caelum) in fulfilling his destiny. As a child, Lunafreya wore a white dress and a zipper on the back. Her hair was short, and she had rings. Lunafreya is a strong-willed woman who talks about her expectations and dreams and acts on her initiative. She is safe even when soldiers point guns at her. The only exception is when she speaks to Leviathan, she uses more command and somewhat rude language. Lunafreya, who can be translated as “prince” in this context, associates the honorable “sama” with Noctis‘ name. Still, Lunafria’s use of honorific names primarily reflects that she grew up as Princess Tenebrae.
